Today our preschoolers jumped into an exciting world of science, literacy, and discovery! 💙📚 Our little learners practiced their writing skills while reinforcing the letters they’ve been working so hard to learn in class. Watching their confidence grow with every word and letter is truly amazing! ✏️✨
To make the day even more exciting, the children became tiny scientists as they explored fascinating materials under the microscope! 🔬🍃 From leaves and bugs to other tiny treasures, every discovery sparked curiosity, excitement, and endless questions about the world around them. 🐞🌱
Hands-on learning experiences like these help encourage exploration, critical thinking, creativity, and a true love for learning. We love watching our preschoolers learn through play, investigation, and discovery every single day! 🙌✨

☀️🌧️⛄ Kid’s Country - Maple Valley Weather Watchers in Action! 🌈💨
At Kid’s Country - Maple Valley, our toddlers have been busy exploring all things WEATHER this month! 🌦️✨ From sunny skies and rainy days to windy afternoons and snowy mornings, our little learners are discovering how weather changes throughout the year through hands-on learning and play.
Through engaging activities, songs, stories, and outdoor observations, the children have been learning about the seasons, what to wear for different weather, and how nature changes around them each day. 🍂☀️🌷❄️
One of the highlights of this exciting unit has been the incredible weather visual wall created by our amazing Toddler 2 teacher, Mr. Daniel! 👏🌈 His creative display has truly brought learning to life and sparked so many meaningful conversations, predictions, and observations from our curious little learners.

🌈👶 Kid’s Country - Burien’s Tiny Learners Explore Through Color & Sensory Play! ✨🎨
Our infants had so much fun participating in a colorful sensory experience inspired by the “Sighty Derby!” 🌈💙 The classroom was filled with bright, vibrant materials that encouraged our littlest learners to explore, observe, touch, and discover the world around them through play. ✨
Sensory activities like these are so important during early development because they help infants strengthen visual tracking, hand-eye coordination, focus, curiosity, and early brain development. 👶🧠 Bright colors naturally capture infants’ attention and encourage them to engage with their environment in meaningful ways while building important developmental skills through hands-on exploration. 🎨✨
Watching our infants learn through seeing, touching, and experiencing new textures and colors is such a beautiful reminder that even the smallest moments create powerful learning opportunities! 💛
